Brand Partnerships

Over the last ten years, I have worked closely with brands on various projects to help craft specific messages and engage target audiences. Across events, editorial and online activations, I enjoy working on the whole process from idea generation to curation, production and delivery.

The following are a selection of the brand collaborations I have worked on.

Squarespace

I worked with Squarespace to create a series of commissions and events that helped communicate the sense of freedom that Squarespace gives to their customers - the ability to create their own store, promote their project and connect with audiences on their own terms. I commissioned four talented photographers who use the Squarespace platform to create a new series of images that represented what freedom meant to them. The final work was showcased on the Riposte site, amplified across our social platforms, as well as those of the photographers and we hosted an online artists talk where the deeper themes of the project were explored. More information on the project can be found here.

adidas SL 72

The adidas SL has its roots in the cultural activism of the 1970s. To mark the re-release of the shoe, I curated and produced an online editorial series featuring cultural change-makers of our day. You can read about the full project here.

COS

To celebrate the launch of the White Shirt Project I worked with COS to curated a line-up of people who have made an impression in the art, culture, design, and publishing worlds. Through a print editorial, online stories, social activations and events in London, Paris and Stockholm, I helped COS communicate the project's messages to the Riposte audience. The full details of the project can be found here.

Toast

Toast released their A/W collection that was inspired by the pioneering spirit. To celebrate this collection I created an in-print editorial featuring women I felt were modern pioneers in their field. I interviewed each woman and produced the shoots. I also organised an event at Picture Room in New York to mark the launch of the collaboration. Full details here.

Slow Factory & adidas

Since 2019 I have worked with Céline Semaan and her team at Slow Factory in partnership with adidas to capture content at their Study Hall conferences. Study Hall is a global conference that looks at sustainability in the fashion industry. Sustainability as Culture took place at CSM in London. As part of the collab, I brought together and managed a team that created shareable content from each session. I also commissioned photographer Ronan McKenzie to document the speakers. To mark the New York iteration in January 2020, I organised the content capture and creation and co-edited a zine that explored the theme of sustainability at scale. The zine was printed on paper made from recycled coffee cups and given away for free at the New York event as further reading. Full project details of the London event can be found here and New York here.
